Benissa (Costa Blanca)
A typical Spanish town of narrow streets and a beautiful
cathedral set on a ridge just above the coast near Moraira.
It catches the cooling breeze and many properties have
some of the best views on the coast . Views of the magnificent
backdrop of the jagged Sierra Bernia mountains are in
sharp contrast to the fantastic coastal views on the
winding road down to Calpe . Along the coastal stretch
of the town are beautiful coves where watersports of
all kinds are popular and it is not hard to find a quiet
cove even in the season.
The surrounding area heading inland rises in fertile
ridges which have been neatly cultivated with vines
and other crops.
