Calella de Palafrugell (Costa Brava):
A beautiful small town which edges the Mediterranean
so closely some of the properties look ready to fall
in as they tumble down the steep streets. Colourful
fishing boats are dragged up on to the shore each night
and sardanas( Catalonian dances) take place with the
back drop of the sea on Saturday nights. Away from the
town centre there are apartments and villas. Many of
these are towards El Golfet where steep cliffs surround
isolated coves and afford spectacular views.
This town really feels a million miles away from some
of its busier more commercial neighbours and is well worth
a visit.
