Llafranc (Costa Brava):

This sits in a perfect semicircular bay which extends round to the lighthouse at San Sebastien. Also a tiny resort it is rather more chic than its neighbours with several quite elegant hotels and an attractive promenade and marina.

Excursions by boat are the only way you can get to some of the more remote coves on this part of the coast.
