Tourism is big business in this popular resort with a myriad of activities and attractions on offer all year round. The old part of the town still retains its warren of Moorish alley-like streets and pretty white washed houses. It has its own golf course at Playa Serena and bird watchers have a treat in store at the Las Marinas salt marsh just outside the town where flamingos, egrets and avocets gather.
